Intake and Start Dates for the 2025-2026 Winnipeg Fencing season:
Foil from 7-9pm Wednesdays and Thursdays for ages mid-teen, through adult, veteran.
2025 Classes September 11 (End Dec 18 )
2026 Classes start January 8 (ends May 7 )
Club Registration Fees for the 2025-2026 Fencing season:
For those club members who need to use a club mask and / or a jacket, there is a fee of $50 to cover normal wear and tear and a refundable $200 deposit to cover loss or damage.
Want to try fencing?
People wishing to try Fencing with us can sign- up for a one month trial (4 consecutive weeks) trial membership. Cost for 1 month is $150 . The one month fee may be applied to Membership Fees if you wish to join fencing. This one month of fencing gives you a rounded feel about our sport.
Club Fees:
New Fencers: Please note we only intake new fencers in September and January.
Returning Fencers: All returning fencers must have their own glove and bodywires.
Session 1: Sept-Dec Session 2: Jan.-May: per session – $375
Full Year (Sept. to May): Sessions 1 & 2 – $675
Classes are Wednesday and Thursdays 7pm to 9 pm.
Competitive Beginner Foil Youth 14 & under . Mondays 5:30pm-6:30pm. In association with the Lindenwoods Youth Fencing Club.

FULL YEAR MEMBERSHIP $675. September to May. Equipment deposit required , refundable at end of year.
4 WEEK INTRO $150 . Includes Equipment . Top up to any other program, pay only the difference in the Fees.
FALL OR WINTER Session $375 per term. Fall term is September to December . Winter term is January to May.
COMPETITIVE YOUTH PROGRAM $200. 10 week program , includes equipment . Offered Mondays 5:30-6:30pm. Starts Sept 29.
All Fencers are responsible for obtaining their own MFA & CFF Memberships and Licences, these are not included in the Phoenix Club Fees. If you are interested in Competing in Tournaments locally or nationally you will require to register with the MFA Membership & CFF Licence which can be purchased HERE.
