Intake and Start Dates for the 2024-2025 Winnipeg Fencing season:
Foil from 7-9pm for ages mid-teen, through adult, veteran

2024 Classes start 11 & 12 September (End Dec 18 & 19)
2025 Classes start 8 & 9 January

ABOUT:
Phoenix Fencing Club was founded over twenty five years ago by Head Coach, Stephen Symons. A family affair, daughter Emma is working on her coaching skills, and grand-daughter Isabella & grand-son Hayden can sometimes be spotted at the club. We welcome people who are new to the sport of Fencing (beginners), Fencing intermediates (1-3 years) and experienced/advanced Fencers.  We offer regular programs in one of the Fencing weapons – Foil ; and limited private sessions in Sabre & Epee.

OUR PROGRAMMES:
Our programs are designed by our coaches for:
Fun & Fitness. Competitive results AND social fitness. Club fun to National Team
We use the National Armband Program & LTAD

LOCATION & TIMES:
We operate our Fencing programs in the heart of Winnipeg! You’ll find us Wednesday & Thursday evenings (7-9 p.m.) at Earl Grey Community Centre (360 Cockburn Street North, in the Fort Rouge area).
